Romy Schneider/Horst Buchholz Postcard, the circa 1957 postcard featuring Romy Schneider was an Austrian actress from the 1950s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: The Sissi trilogy (in the title role as Sissi), Christina, The Things of Life, Ludwig, The Old Gun, Monpti, and Purple Noon. She had a long term relationship with French actor Alain Delon. Sadly, she died from cardiac arrest in 1982, a year after her son passed away in a freak accident where he was impaled on a fence AND Horst Buchholz was a German/U.S. actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. He became known to U.S. audiences in The Magnificent Seven in 1961, where he was billed as "Introducing Horst Buchholz", which was not at all correct, since not only had he been acting in Germany for several years, but he had appeared in more than one American movie, and was billed in those pre Magnificent Seven movies as "Henry Bookholt" (likely because producers did not think American audiences would like his German name). Some of his other movies include: Tiger Bay, and Young Rebel.
