A Linenbacked Special Poster (measures 20 1/2" x 28 3/4" [52 x 73 cm]) (Learn More)

Seattle World's Fair (also known as "The Century 21 Exposition") was a world's fair held from April 21st to October 21st in Seattle, Washington. Nearly 10 million people attended the fair, and unlike some other world's fairs of its era, Century 21 made a profit. As planned, the exposition left behind a fairground and numerous public buildings (such as the Space Needle, which had just been built) and public works (some credit it with revitalizing Seattle's economic and cultural life).
Artist: James Edward Peck
Important Added Info: Note that this poster features great art by James Edward Peck, who was a nationally known artist at the time. He worked as a graphic designer for Boeing and was head of the art department at the Cornish School.
