An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Joan Marsh was an actress from the 1910s to the 1940s. She first appeared in movies as a 2 year-old child, made a few movies as a child, and then took a ten year break, and continued as a 17 year-old actress, and acted until she was 31, at which point she retired (and she lived another 60 years, apparently without making another movie!). Some of her movies include: All Quiet on the Western Front, You're Telling Me!, and Anna Karenina AND Mary Carlisle is an actress from the 1930s and 1940s (she had a minor part in one 1920s silent movie). Some of her movies include: Murder in the Private Car, Kind Lady, and One Frightened Night. Note that not only is Miss Carlisle still alive at the age of 101 (she celebrated her birthday on February 3, 2015!), but she is also the only surviving "Baby WAMPAS" star from 1932! Perhaps her longevity is partly due to her having retired from the movies in 1943, shortly after marrying a successful businessman (he passed away in 2007). Condition: very good to fine.
