An Original Vintage Theatrical Danish Movie Program (measures 5" x 6 1/2" [13 x 17 cm]; 11 pages) (Learn More) Liliom, the 1934 Fritz Lang French romantic love triangle good-girl-in-love-with-no-good-guy melodrama (based on the play by Ferenc Molnar; about a carnival barker who has no prospects, but an innocent young girl is in love with him, but their love can't survive in the real world) starring Charles Boyer (in the title role as Lilion Zadowski), Madeleine Ozeray, Florelle, Antonin Artaud, and Robert Arnoux. Note that this was based on a 1909 play by Ferenc Molnar, and was first adapted into a movie in 1919. If the plot sounds extremely familiar, it is because Rodgers & Hammerstein based their 1956 "Carousel" play and movie on it! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the front and back covers and an interior 2-page spread from this program. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
