Artist: Tomi Ungerer Important Added Info: Note that this 1968 poster is almost identical to the 1978 re-release poster, including the 1968 copyright date in the lower left corner. The difference between the two posters is the small text in the lower right corner. This first release poster reads "A Leacock Pennebaker release" in that area while the 1978 re-release poster reads "A Pennebaker release". Please bid knowing this poster is from the 1968 first release! Also note that this poster contains artwork of an unclothed woman, so we have placed a white bar over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual poster does not have those white bars! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was originally folded with two evenly spaced vertical folds instead of one in the middle. It had many creases and scuffs along the folds, with some scuffs scattered in the solid black background areas. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
