An Original Vintage Unfolded World War I Poster (measures 20" x 30" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Remember and Invest, the 1919 U.S. World War 1 (WWI) War Bond poster ("Victory Liberty Loan Woman's Liberty Loan Committee"; "Remember Argonne Hateau-Thierry St. Mihiel Belleau-Wood Cantigny Soissons Vesle...") encouraging citizens to support the post-war humanitarian efforts, and featuring James Monroe Hewlett art of Columbia being gifted a bag of coins by a kneeling man.

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare World War I poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was in 2003!

Condition: good. The poster was exposed to an very dark oily substance at upper left and upper center (see our image). It has a large tear at upper center and some other creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges and the large tear and a few others are repaired with tape from the back. After proper restoration the poster will look fantastic, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
