H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds, the classic 1953 Byron Haskin science fiction (sci-fi) Martian extraterrestrial alien invasion action thriller ("From the ends of the universe... they are reaching for YOU!"; produced by George Pal; based on the classic novel by H.G. Wells; about seemingly unstoppable aliens invading the Earth) starring Gene Barry, Ann Robinson, Les Tremayne, Robert Cornthwaite, Lewis Martin, and Ann Codee

Condition: good to very good. The cards have varying degrees of border defects. The card with the people wearing the cool shades (#4) has tape stains in the middle of each border, and had paper loss in the middle of the left blank border where tape was roughly removed (someone taped a piece of paper to the back of that area). It also has two tiny areas of surface paper loss in the top center of the image. The card with the people approaching the spaceship (#5) has a Canadian censor stamp and scratches, stains, and surface paper loss in the upper left, and is rippled in that area. The card with Barry holding the alien metal (#6) has a censor stamp in the lower left with rippling, creases, and scuffing in the left side and pinholes in the top of the girl's head and hair. The card with Robinson crying (#8) has scuffs in the top and bottom of the image. The other cards are between "good to very good" and "very good" condition. Please closely look at our super-sized image to see exactly what defects these cards have and what condition they are in before placing a bid on this set.
