a lot of 36 issues of Independent Film Journal magazine, one of the exhibitor magazines of the 1960s on. It was very similar to Box Office, but was created to highlight movies that were not made by the major studios, and each issue was filled with ads for new independent releases, plus lots of stories and information relative to those movies. Of course, the studio system was breaking down in the late 1960s, so this magazine came along at the perfect time to address the major expansion of the independent film industry.
