Original Vintage Candid Theatrical Our Gang 8x10 Still (Learn More)

Billie 'Buckwheat' Thomas was a child actor from the 1930s and 1940s, and one of the first black African American actors to achieve success in mainstream sound movies. He is most famous for his role as Buckwheat in the Our Gang (Little Rascals) series. He passed away in 1980 at the age of 49 from a heart attack.

Important Added Info: There is a snipe on the back of the still (it is pictured underneath the image of the front of the still). Note that this week all five of the "Our Gang" stills we are selling show various "Our Gang" members wearing official "Our Gang" cowboy and Indian outfits! I doubt if any of these costumes still survive, but if they did I would think they would sell for a fortune!

Condition: fine. The snipe on the back has a tear and it is creased.
