An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Raiders From Beneath the Sea, the 1965 Maury Dexter underwater scuba divers crime horror thriller ("Up from the sea they came - to commit the most daring heist ever pulled on land!"; "Like monsters out of the deep they came ashore...two men out to seize a million dollar haul!"; "Rising from the sea - to commit a daring crime on land!") starring Ken Scott, Merry Anders, Russ Bender, Booth Colman, and Garth Benton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and it had defects which were repaired during the linenbacking process (which we describe below, as well as the quality of the restoration, if I thought there was something about the restoration worth commenting on; if I made no comments about the quality of restoration, then it means I feel it was a good restoration job!). You should also look at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster was in excellent condition prior to linenbacking. There was bleed through from the NSS stamp in the lower right at the bottom of the yellow background area. The poster was well backed, but the restorer did not touch up the bleed through from the NSS stamp on the back. Other than this bleed through, the poster would be graded as being in "fine" condition!
