This race was sponsored by Gruppo Bipop. This poster features an excellent art image of a classic Mercedes race cars by Enzo Naso. Learn More UPDATED 03/31/2011: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this poster has been trimmed. Approximately 21cm (8.2 inches) was neatly trimmed off the top and bottom of the poster. The trimmed areas contained sponsor logos. Based on this we have changed the condition to "good". Please bid knowing that the poster has been trimmed. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. 21cm (8.2 inches) was neatly trimmed off the top and bottom of the poster. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period) and some scuffs around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
