Peacemaker, the 1956 Ted Post cowboy western ("The GUN... or THE BOOK!"; "The gun was quick... A click of a cylinder... A squeeze of a trigger... A curl of smoke... And an argument was settled!"; " The book was slower... Justice was surer... bound in the timeless wisdom...'blessed are the peacemakers'"; "Is this the man whose guns once made the land tremble... A man who tried to fight fire with faith! A topgun turned parson who had suddenly come to his 'valley of decision' in this lawless town that would not let him forget his lawless past!"; "The story of a topgun turned parson in the days when the frontier was being forged... and America was bulleting Westward!"; "At the end of the road... at the end of his smoking guns... he found faith... as the big sky watched overhead!") starring James Mitchell, Rosemarie Bowe, Jan Merlin, Jess Barker, Hugh Sanders, Robert Armstrong, and Taylor Holmes

Condition: very good. There is a 1 1/2" x 3/4" piece out of the center of the top border with a piece of white tape over it from both sides (the tape extends into the yellow border on the front). There are tack holes in each corner (some extend into the image). There is a pair of staple holes in the woman at center's chest and a tack hole in the bottom center edge of the image background. There is a 1" tear in the left of the bottom border. There is a smudge in the upper right border. There are a few minor creases in the edges of the image background. There is a crease in each corner. Note that overall, the defects noted above are not particularly distracting, and I would think most collectors could live with them!
