Artist: Frank McCarthy (inside flap only) Important Added Info: Note that this art portfolio is from the personal collection of Nevart Apikian, who wrote an entertainment column for the Syracuse Post Standard for nearly 50 years. It was acquired from her estate after her passing. In the case of this particular portfolio, it has nothing personalized to her, but it has a printed letter from Fred Goldberg of United Artists to the recipients of this portfolio telling them about it and mentioning that the prints (which are of drawings from the 1880s, when the real life events occurred) are of great historic and artistic interest and suitable for framing, so we suspect they were sent solely to film critics, as a kind of bribe to get them to like the movie more! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
