An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Our Gang was a long-running series of kids movies, started in 1922 by Hal Roach, and continuing for the next 20 years, with an ever changing cast (as the kids grew too old!). Among the best remembered cast members were George 'Spanky' McFarland, Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer, Scotty Beckett (who later played the young Al Jolson in "The Jolson Story"), Billie 'Buckwheat' Thomas, Stymie Beard, Darla Hood, Sunshine Sammy Morrison, Jackie Cooper, and many others! Important Added Info: Note that this still looks like it could be a candid image, or it could be from one of the shorts. If anyone knows more about this still, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that our consignor tells us that he purchased this still (along with one other similar one) and that the person who sold them to him told him they belonged to Mary Kornman, one of the Our Gang actors. Also note that it is extremely likely that this is a "key book" still, and it is virtually a certainty that the punch holes were put there by the studio at the time the still was created, so they are not a defect. Also note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Condition: very good. There is a circular sticker around the back of each punch hole for reinforcement. There is a tiny brown stain in the bottom center of the image, but the still is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
