An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 40") (Learn More) Les Miserables, the 1995 Claude Lelouch French historical World War II (WWII) melodrama ("In a time of chaos, in a world of change, he was moved by a book he could not read to become a hero he never imagined."; "Inspired by Victor Hugo's Classic Novel") starring Jean-Paul Belmondo (as Henri Fortin/Jean Valjean), Michel Boujenah, Alessandra Martines, Annie Girardot, Clementine Celarie (as Catherine/Fantine), Philippe Leotard, Rufus, Ticky Holgado, Philippe Khorsand (as Le policier/Javert), Nicole Croisille, ("With the exceptional participation of") Jean Marais, Micheline Presle, and Darry Cowl NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Also note that this is a double-sided poster. In the 1990s movie posters were sometimes made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: good.
