An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Flying Luck, the 1927 Herman Raymaker silent airplane aviation pilot slapstick screwball comedy (about a would-be pilot who has no clue what he is doing, but he enters a flying contest, and performs impossible aerial stunts, and he has a female love interest, played by the very young Jean Arthur, who was not even billed or pictured on the posters!) starring Monty Banks, Jean Arthur, Jack W. Johnston, Kewpie Morgan, and Eddy Chandler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has a great artwork image of Banks in a bi-plane over a huge cheering crowd, and that his plane is named "Spirit of Plum Center 13", obviously a parody on Lindbergh's "Spirit of St. Louis"! This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. The card has lots of small tears and creases around the edges. Someone put some tape on the back of the bottom left corner. The card is fragile, and would greatly benefit from professional restoration, but after a simple paperbacking, the card will look great, and there will be little paint restoration anywhere on the card!
