Kull & Thomas Storey canine German Shepherd dog melodrama ("Story and Continuity by Tom Sawyer Storey", who was also the director, but he billed himself two different ways; about a young boy whose dog is accused of committing crimes, but it turns out that it was really a bear that was the culprit, and there is a great fierce confrontation between the dog and bear!) starring Lightning ("The Marvel Dog"), Douglas Haig, Frank Brownlee, and Samson the Bear. Note that Lightning made an uncredited appearance in the 1934 movie, "The Case of the Howling Dog", and that got him discovered and he starred in a half dozen movies over the next three year, after which he retired from the screen!
