TWA: Germany, the 1960s TWA (Trans World Airlines) airplane airline aviation travel poster encouraging travel to Germany aboard Trans World Airlines (TWA). This poster features great art by David Klein. Note that we have seen multiple versions of TWA: Germany posters with David Klein art. Some have an extra tagline at the bottom and some do not.

Important Added Info: Note that the "Up Up and Away TWA" tagline was first used in 1967 and lasted about a year. "Up, Up and Away" was pop song most famously sung by the Fifth Dimension, and an advertising agency came up with the idea of using it to promote TWA. It was a hit but there was a lawsuit over the use of the song, and when that was settled, TWA had switched advertising agencies.

Condition: good. The poster has some slight discoloration due to exposure to moisture and creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along portions of some edges along portions of the lower edge (partially repaired with tape from the back). Certainly the poster could be restored and linenbacked and it would look great, but please bear in mind its defects and cost of restoration before placing a bid.
