Important Added Info: Note that this script was the personal property of actor Tom Irish, who played a bit part in this movie, and this is his personal script, and his name is written on the cover. Note that this script is the second revised final draft from June 9, 1955 and the screenplay was written by Crane Wilbur. Also note that there are yellow and blue revision pages from 6/15/55 and 6/20/55. Included with the script are stapled "fill in" sheets, which is literally a test that the actors working on this movie had to take, because the movie was filmed on an actual aircraft carrier, and the producers of the movie wanted to make sure they wouldn't do anything stupid that might cause an explosion or other damage! The sheets have the answers filled in. There are also two pages of stationery from the U.S. Grant (a San Diego hotel) with information about aircraft carriers written on them. There is also a personal letter to actor Tom Irish from "Mrs. Finegold" wishing him the best of luck on the movie and she kissed the letter (see our image of the front). Condition: good to very good. There are lots of notations and folded over pages throughout the script, but they were surely done by actor Tom Irish. Note that we have photographed the cover of the script, the title page, the final page of the script (the one that reads "THE END"), and one or more interior pages. These images will not only provide important information about the script, but they also allow you to closely judge the condition of the script. The script is 100% complete!
