Brannon science fiction (sci-fi) serial ("A Republic Serial in 15 Chapters") starring Dennis Moore, Linda Stirling, Roy Barcroft (in the title role as The Purple Monster), James Craven, Monte Hale, Emmett Vogan, Bud Geary, Mary Moore (who was the wife of Clayton Moore from 1940 to 1942), and Kenne Duncan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this script is the shooting script from March 26, 1945. Also note that the writers are not credited on this but that the movie credits Royal K. Cole, Albert DeMond, Basil Dickey, Lynn Perkins, Joseph F. Poland, and Barney A. Sarecky. Also note that the script has the working title "The Purple Shadow Strikes", but the movie ultimately was called "The Purple Monster Strikes". Condition: very good. There must have originally been a cover page on top of the title page, because there are small remnants of that page at the brads holding the script together. Otherwise, the script is in nice condition! Note that we have photographed the cover of the script, the title page, the final page of the script (the one that reads "THE END"), and one or more interior pages.
