He knows they're here."; "Based on the classic motion picture screenplay by Richard Blake"; "Invader Creatures Designed and Created by Stan Winston") starring Karen Black, Hunter Carson, Timothy Bottoms, Laraine Newman, James Karen, Bud Cort, and Louise Fletcher. Note that this movie was a re-make of the 1953 science fiction classic directed by William Cameron Menzies. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this script is the final revision draft from November 20, 1985 and the screenplay was written by Dan O'Bannon & Don Jakoby. Also note that this is a script from the 1986 remake (we are separately auctioning the script for a 1981 proposed remake that was never used). Note that this script was the personal copy of "M.J. Mayo" (his name is on the cover and first interior page). Included with the script is a "Cannon Memo" from "Thierry" to "Marvin", and we would think that Marvin is M.J. Mayo. If anyone knows more about who this is, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that there are revision pages from 7/3/85 and 11/20/85 (someone hand wrote "REVISIONS 7/3/85 - 11/20/85" at the bottom of the title page, and they crossed off the "3rd" from before "revision" under the title, and wrote "FINAL" above it). Condition: very good. Note that we have photographed the cover of the script, the title page, the final page of the script (the one that reads "THE END"), and one or more interior pages.
