An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Alice Faye was the leading 20th Century Fox actress from the 1930s to the 1940s and continued to work to the 1970s. She worked exclusively for 20th Century-Fox, and she was "like Jean Harlow, except she sang, too"! Some of her movies include: Alexander's Ragtime Band, Fallen Angel, In Old Chicago, The Gang's All Here, and Stowaway. She was married to bandleader Phil Harris for 54 years. Alice passed away in 1998 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that this great individual still (and a number of others) come from a recently discovered collection of mostly 1930s stills (but with some from the 1920s, and some from the 1940s and 1950s) that came from the estate of a longtime journalist who wrote about these movies and visited the sets of many movies and were given these stills at that time. They are all rare original stills from the first release of the movies, and some have cool candid images. This is an opportunity to acquire extremely rare stills, including some from movies you almost never see anything from! Also note that we are also currently auctioning a number of sets of stills (each from one movie) from this same collection, also in individual auctions. Condition: very good to fine.
