An Unfolded French Advertising Poster (measures 47" x 62 3/4" [119 x 159 cm]) (Learn More) Le Portatif Gramophone (literally translates to "The Portable Gramophone"), the 1930s French advertising poster promoting the purchase of a portable record player, and featuring an image of the device (which has the famous His Master's Voice picture of a dog listening to a recording). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Note that this poster must be sent in a tube that is over 32" long (which is why it is in this set of auctions). You can tell how long the tube will need to be by adding 2 inches to the shorter dimension of the length or width (so 40x60s need to be sent in a 42 inch long tube, etc). Most of these posters (with the notable exception of paper banners) CAN be combined in the same tube together, with a few exceptions. Bear in mind that a very long tube (42 inches or longer) will cost a lot more to send than a 30" tube, so bear that in mind before bidding on this poster. Condition: good to very good. The poster has some creases scattered in various areas and some uneven fold lines. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition especially given its age and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look and display great! Learn More about condition grades
