An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) TWA: Paris, the 1950s airplane airline aviation travel poster promoting travel to Paris, France aboard TWA (Trans World Airlines), and featuring David Klein art of the golden statues in front of the Museum Palais de Chaillot, at the Trocadero next to the Eiffel Tower. Artist: David Klein Important Added Info: Note that (as with other airlines' travel posters) there were more than one version of the same poster. In the 1950s, they had one kind of airplane in the background, and in the 1960s they switched to a different kind of airplane. We have noted which version (and decade) this poster is from in the title area. Condition: good to very good. There is a large snipe at upper right covering the artwork of the prop-driven TWA Constellation and advertising faster service with the new jet-powered Boeing 707 (one could easily have the snipe removed during restoration, or leave it as an example of the rapid changes in aviation at the time!). The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
