An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 7 3/4" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Satan Met a Lady, the 1936 William Dieterle crime murder mystery melodrama ("By Dashiell Hammett, author of 'The Thin Man'"; a re-make of the 1931 movie The Maltese Falcon, in which they changed the character names, and they are all after a "ram's horn"; of course, the movie was remade a third time with Humphrey Bogart, and became one of the best remembered movies of all time!) starring Bette Davis, Warren William, Alison Skipworth, Arthur Treacher, Winifred Shaw, Marie Wilson, and Porter Hall
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that someone wrote "Bette Davis in 'Hard Luck Dame'" in pencil on the back of this wonderful still. That was apparently a working title for both this movie and "Dangerous", so it is possible that this still could be from either movie. If anyone who has seen both movies can tell us for certain if the outfit Davis is wearing is from one of the two movies, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 10" [20 x 25 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: good. There are pinholes in each corner, with tiny creases and scuffs scattered around the edges (but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light).
