Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Major Bowes' Amateur Theatre of the Air, the 1935 John H. Auer RKO NBC radio show short ("NOW... On the screen!"; "with Major Bowes himself and his prize winning entertainers"; "New Faces! New Talent! A New Idea in Entertainment!"). Note that there were several different one-sheets created for various Major Bowes amateur short subjects. Below are the acts/groups that appear in this particular short. "Francis Broderick & Billie Larkin", "The Harmonica Trio", "The Medicine Wagon Act", "The Chanticleer Quintet from Birmingham, Ala.", "Al Reynolds, tap dancer", "The Tune Teasers, four Toronto boys", and "Phil McMahon, Allie Stoll, and Marjorie Green"
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was in very good condition. There were pinholes and smudges around the edges of the poster and some minor creases, small tears, and smudges throughout the poster. Whoever linenbacked the poster did next-to-nothing to touch up these defects, but they are really not very distracting. It should be noted that the linenbacker did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, as many linenbackers do.
