A Linenbacked French Art Exhibition Poster (measures 24 1/4" x 39 1/4" [62 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Exposition Internationale Paris 1937 (literally translates to "International Exhibition Paris 1937," and also known as "Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques dans la Vie Moderne"), the 1937 World art and technology exposition that was held from May 25th to November 25th in Paris, France. Artist: Jean Carlu Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had minor wear on the folds and in the borders. It was well backed with no excess, but over the years since it was backed, it acquired brown dot stains scattered throughout, and it also faded a very large amount (there was some red touch up paint on parts of the vertical fold and the bottom horizontal fold, and they give you a sense of just how much the poster has faded).
