What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. Someone trimmed the excess linen and then framed it, and a slight bit of the outer edges of the borders were covered by a mat. Everything that was exposed has severely faded from a bright yellow to a dull pale yellow (you can see the original color by looking at the upper left edge). The poster still displays fairly well if you don't know it is faded, but bear in mind this very significant defect before placing a bid on it.
