eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 8a264 LOT OF 7 REPRO LOBBY CARDS FROM YOUNG EAGLES BOY SCOUT SERIAL '80s super scarce serial! Date Sold 6/26/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 7 1980s REPRODUCTION lobby cards from Young Eagles, the 1934 Edward Lavier Boy Scout juvenile adventure serial ("The thrilling wild animal adventure chapter play"; "12 thrilling chapters"; "Officially endorsed by the Boy Scouts of America!") starring Bobby Cox, Jim Vance, Carter Dixon, Philo McCullough, Bob Ferrey, and Iron Eyes Cody. Note that these come from a man who collected serial lobby cards for decades. He knew that there were some serial cards that were SO scarce that he might never acquire them, so when he would encounter another collector who had ones he didn't have, he would often pay them to have color copies made (they look like they were made on a color copier), and most were on a fairly thin paper, but some were on a heavy stock, and you can tell which kind of paper each lot of repros is by looking at our condition area below. We are auctioning all of his repro serial lobby cards in many bulk lots (there are no others). This is a likely one time opportunity to acquire nice reproductions of extremely scarce serial lobby cards! Note that in the case of this title, the collector was only able to locate seven of the cards to reproduce, and he never did locate that eighth incredibly rare card (see our images). Condition: very good to fine. These REPRODUCTION lobby cards were printed on a thin paper stock. The quality is pretty good, but they were likely printed on a color copier (see our images).
