An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 11" x 17" [28 x 43 cm]; 24 pages) (Learn More) The Great Rupert, the 1950 Irving Pichel family Christmas fantasy heartwarming comedy ("Produced by George Pal"; "It's Humiliatin'!"; "'I should've stood in Bed!'"; "Based on a story by Ted Allen"; "Produced by George Pal"; about a down-and-out family who moves into an apartment occupied by a magical squirrel, and the squirrel fulfills all their Christmas wishes!; the squirrel sequences were created by George Pal, using a process similar to that of his Puppetoons) starring Jimmy Durante, Terry Moore, Tom Drake, Frank Orth, Sara Haden, Queenie Smith, Chick Chandler, Jimmy Conlin, and Rupert (the squirrel, in the title role as himself!)
