Steichen, U.S.N.R."; "Narration written by John Stuart Martin"; with much footage from the newly commissioned USS Yorktown aircraft carrier, the replacement to the old Yorktown that was lost during The Battle of Midway) narrated by Robert Taylor, and Charles Boyer (for the French version). Note that documentaries like this were made during World War II to let the people on the Home Front see what it was they were fighting for (and how hard the troops were fighting!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills have been trimmed and they now measure 7 1/4" x 10" [18 x 25 cm]. Condition: good. The bottom edge has been trimmed from each still and there is some discoloration and scuffing throughout. There are pairs of staple holes around the edges of the stills.
