He was the leader of the Hour of Charm All Girl Orchestra, the 22-piece ensemble featured Evelyn and Her Magical Violin (who eventually became Mrs. Spitalny), which was one of the only all-girl Big Bands! Some of his songs include: Now's the Time to Fall in Love, Shine on Harvest Moon, and I Want to Meander in the Meadow. Spitalny passed away in 1970 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Phil Spitalny! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to be authentic.
