Date Sold 5/14/2009Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55") (Learn More) Mondo Balordo (released in the U.S. in 1967 as "Mondo Balordo" and "A Fool's World"), the 1964 Roberto Bianchi Montero Italian mondo human-oddities horror shockumentary ("Boris Karloff unlocks man's oldest secrets and exposes the hidden intimate shocking scenes of love... Around Our Crazy World!"; "We didn't make the love scenes in Mondo Balordo... We just filmed what Nature already started."; "filmed in brilliant color"; one of the zillions of imitators of "Mondo Cane") narrated by Boris Karloff NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Mario De Berardinis Important Added Info: Normally, we don't wonder about art, but one of those two legs is completely different from the other, and what's that all about? Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie! Note that in the U.S., this movie had a narration by Boris Karloff, although he did not appear in the movie, and it was prominently advertised as a "Boris Karloff" movie. In its original Italian release, he was not billed or pictured (therefore it seems likely that he only narrated the English language version and not the original Italian version)! Also note that this poster was folded in half an extra time. If it is purchased by itself (or solely with other posters that were folded an extra time), then it can be sent in one of our standard size mailers. But if it is purchased with posters that were NOT folded an extra time, then it will need to be sent in one of our oversized flat packages. If you solely purchase this poster, we will re-fold it an extra time, and send it in our standard size mailer to save on shipping, but we will then not include the bonus items. Condition: good. There is a very large title change snipe glued over the title area. There is a censor stamp in the top right corner and some white conservation tape on the back of a few crossfolds and on small parts of the back of the foldlines, mending separations.
