An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Cheyenne, the 1929 Albert S. Rogell silent Wyoming rodeo romantic cowboy western ("Ken rides to new screen glory"; "Ken, the all around, all-American star in one of his most exciting pictures. See him ride the bucking bronchos [sic], bulldog the racing steers and ride to victory and love in one of the most thrilling races ever staged!"; "Story by Bennett Cohen") starring Ken Maynard, Gladys McConnell, James Bradbury Jr., Billy Franey, Slim Whitaker, and Tarzan (Ken Maynard's horse). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. There is slight smudging on the glass (it is not very distracting, and it could likely be cleaned). The cardboard holder has staining around the staples.
