An Original 1956 (from the first release of this movie in Argentina) Vintage Theatrical Folded Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 43" x 58") (Learn More)

Mister Roberts, the classic 1955 John Ford & Mervyn LeRoy World War II (WWII) military Naval Navy cargo ship comedy melodrama ("The six-year stage smash on the screen!"; "For pleasure way above and beyond the ordinary - see 'Mister Roberts'"; "Warner Bros happily bring to the screen the happiest play that ever played!"; "The most loved, most laughed-with play of our day-even greater on the screen!"; "Based on the play by Thomas Heggen and Joshua Logan"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a cargo ship in World War II where the crew never sees action, and the chief cargo officer wants desperately to be transferred to the front lines, but the sadistic captain of the ship refuses to let him do so to further his own ambitions) starring Henry Fonda (in the title role as "the original Mister Roberts"), James Cagney ("as the Captain"), William Powell ("as Doc"), Jack Lemmon (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; "as Ensign Pulver"; in his fourth movie role!), Betsy Palmer, Ward Bond, and Phil Carey. Note that Henry Fonda had a massive hit playing in this role on Broadway, and he agreed to star in this film adaptation, which was also very successful!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this Argentinean 43x58 poster was printed in 2 sections.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkened along the foldlines, but it mostly only shows in the light background areas. It is fragile along the folds, with tiny tears and a few tiny areas of paper loss, and would greatly benefit from being professionally linenbacked.
