Date Sold 1/10/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Chasing Through Europe, the 1929 David Butler & Alfred L. Werker romantic comedy sequel (this was a sequel to the 1928 movie, "The News Parade", with Nick Stuart again playing a brash newsreel cameraman traveling the world in search of hot news; in this movie, he meets Sue Carol, who is engaged to a man she doesn't love, and she is kidnapped, and Stuart helps her break her engagement and escape the crooks, while traveling through London, Paris and Rome, and there is apparently a cliffhanging scene at the Eiffel Tower!) starring Sue Carol, Nick Stuart, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Gavin Gordon, and E. Alyn Warren NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor stains on the staples. Learn More about condition grades
