An Original Vintage 6" x 8" [15 x 20 cm] News Photo (Learn More) Mickey Daniels was a redheaded, heavily freckled child actor, originally in the "Our Gang" comedy shorts. However after transitioning into an adult, roles became scarce. He died at the age of 55 in a hotel room in San Diego, where he was working as a taxi driver! Some of his movies include: The Champeen, Rupert of Hee Haw, and Too Many Women AND Peggy James was a child actress from the 1920s. If anyone knows more about this person, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that two of the Our Gang stars, Mickey Daniels and Peggy James, were invited to the White House, where they met President Calvin Coolidge. Some news reporter had the wacky idea of having them kneel down by the President's car and pretend to let the air out of his tires, and this resulting news photo was sent across the country (and no doubt, many newspapers printed it as fact!).
