An Original Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 26" x 40" [66 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Broadway Billy, the 1926 Harry Joe Brown (billed as "Harry Brown") silent New York City boxing sports romantic love triangle melodrama (the age old story of an up and coming boxer weakened by being seduced by a vamp; but this movie adds a twist to that, where the boxer's wife spends his money so quickly that it is that which makes him susceptible to the sexy lady hired to cause him to lose the fight; also, there is a twist ending where the wife is injured in a car crash on the day of the big fight, and they don't tell the fighter husband about that, but when he learns late in the fight that she is in the hospital and is listening on the radio, he rallies and knocks out his opponent) starring Billy Sullivan (in the title role as Billy Brooks), Virginia Brown Faire, Billy Franey, Jack Herrick, and Hazel Howell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 26" x 40" [66 x 102 cm]. Also note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Condition: good. Prior to being kraftbacked (see above), the poster was slightly trimmed, to 26" x 40", but only blank white paper was affected.
