6r870 THAT CERTAIN THING LC '28 Frank Capra's 4th movie, Ralph Graves stares at Viola Dana, rare!

An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

That Certain Thing, the 1928 Frank Capra silent romantic marriage comedy melodrama (about a young woman who has a poor mother and brothers, and she wants to marry a millionaire to help her family, and she does marry the son of a millionaire, but then his father disowns him, and she surprises everyone when she sticks with her now broke husband, and they have a successful marriage, in spite of their lack of money) starring Viola Dana, Ralph Graves, Burr McIntosh, Aggie Herring, Carl Gerard, and Syd Crossley. Note that this was Frank Capra's fourth time directing. He had great success with two Harry Langdon movies, but the movie he made prior to this one was "For the Love of Mike", which Capra said was the worst movie he ever directed, and it was important to him to rebound with this movie, which he did, because the movie was both critically and financially successful!

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1928 movie paper from this Frank Capra movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The card was folded down the middle and it has much separation at the top and bottom of that fold, with tiny paper loss at the bottom of the fold (see our image).
