These test photos were printed from the negatives on full 8" x 10" regular paper (but with the frames visible around the edges), and then they chose which ones they wanted to use and put an "X" on the ones they did not. Many of these are rejected ones that have an "X" on the top left or right corner, and some have letters written in the top left or right corner (see our images). Of course, The Girl Most Likely is the 1957 Mitchell Leisen romantic musical comedy ("Songs! Music! Romance! In the playgrounds of the Pacific!"; "Plan to attend the biggest funfest in town"; "She's young. She's daring. She's engaged to three guys all at the same time!"; "It's a BALL when THREE GUYS FALL for the one they CALL. The Girl Most Likely [and she promises to marry all three!]"; "Her 'steady' boy promised her the moon.
