An Original 1960 (from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Two-Panel (known in Italy as a "4 Fogli") Movie Poster (2p; measures 55" x 78" [140 x 198 cm]) (Learn More) La Momia Azteca (literally translates to "The Aztec Mummy"), the 1957 Rafael Portillo Mexican horror thriller (about a scientist who regresses his girlfriend to a previous life, where she was a sacrificed Aztec maiden; her love is a warrior who was buried alive with artifacts that point to a treasure, and he comes back to life when disturbed!) starring Ramon Gay, Rosita Arenas (as Xochitl), Crox Alvarado, Luis Aceves Castaneda, Jorge Mondragon, and Angel Di Stefani (in the title role as the mummy Popoca). Note that this is the first of the film series featuring the Aztec mummy. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that it is not that unusual for Italian posters to change the stars' names (sometimes to make them sound American, so that audiences would think they were watching an American movie, rather than one from another country). But in the case of this poster, not only did they change names and add names, they even included a bunch of lesser credits with very American sounding names, and one of them is "Evelin Keyes", who was a famous 1940s actress, but her name was spelled wrong! Also note that this Italian two-panel was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good. Learn More about condition grades
