Barrows"; about a singing waiter who becomes a Broadway star, and he gets married and has a child, but then his wife leaves him for a gangster; that causes him to become massively depressed, and he ends up a bum, but gets his old job back as a waiter, where a friendly cigarette girl helps him make a comeback; but then his son dies the night of his return to the stage, and he sings his son's favorite song!) starring Al Jolson, Betty Bronson, Josephine Dunn, Arthur Housman, Reed Howes, Davey Lee, and Edward Martindel NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare "pre-War" Belgian poster. Prior to World War II, Belgian posters were much larger than the ones from after the war, and they are extremely rare (because during WWII, there was a massive paper shortage in Belgium, and they took virtually every poster and map, and printed new posters on the backs of them!). Note that we don't think this poster originally had a blank top, because it measures the same size as Belgian posters from before World War II, but we have no poster to compare it to, so we can't say for certain. It was mounted onto a thin linen with no restoration. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
