Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had a fold across the lower one-third, with some tiny paper loss on that fold. It was very fragile and had tears and small paper loss around the edges, and a little bit in the left and right of the green border. It had scuffing in the silhouette of the soldier. The poster was very fragile and someone many years mounted it onto a very thin linen. It acquired some light water staining in the left of the bottom of the poster extending up 2-3" and some scattered on the back of the top (both in the poster and the linen). Certainly, the new owner of this poster should have it immediately removed from the thin linen and properly backed, and since it is mostly "all there", it will look great after proper restoration, but bear this in mind after bidding.
