He is best remembered for his starring roles in the Pink Panther movies (as Inspector Clouseau), and some of his other movies include: Dr. Strangelove (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Ladykillers, Being There (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Party, and The Mouse That Roared.
