An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Let's Make It Legal, the 1951 Richard Sale romantic love triangle marriage divorce comedy ("Who cares if it's legal as long as it's... tempting, virile, tantalizing, smooth, Wow!"; "Who cares if it's legal as long as it's fun!!!"; "Screen Play by F. Hugh Herbert and I.A.L. Diamond"; "Based on a story by Mortimer Braus"; about a middle-aged couple with adult children, where the wife wants to get divorced from her gambling husband, and he tries to win her back, and it is complicated by the re-emergence of her old flame, who is now rich) starring Claudette Colbert, Macdonald Carey, Zachary Scott, Barbara Bates, Marilyn Monroe, Robert Wagner (in his third credited movie role!), and Frank Candy. Note that after Marilyn Monroe's great success at the start of the 1950s, 20th Century-Fox, who had her under contract, wisely found small parts for her in lots of their movies in 1951 and 1952! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and tears of varying lengths around the edges of the poster (1" or less). There are pinholes (with some torn or enlarged due to rough removal) at upper center (in the "L" of the title) and lower center (in the image of Scott's head) that have been repaired with tape from the back. There is a tiny tear in the art of Monroe's neck at right. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
