An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 12" x 16") (Learn More)

The Power and the Glory (released in France as "Thomas Garner"), the 1933 William K. Howard romantic story-of-a-man's-life-told-in-flashbacks melodrama ("The first Narratage production"; written by Preston Sturges; with cinematography by James Wong Howe; the movie begins with a man's death, and then his life is explored in a series of flashbacks; he had great financial success, but at the cost of happiness in his personal life; many people think that this movie was Orson Welles' inspiration for Citizen Kane's structure, as there are many parallels) starring Spencer Tracy, Colleen Moore, Ralph Morgan, Helen Vinson, Phillip Trent, and Henry Kolker

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Now that this window card has had its top and left areas trimmed off and it now measures 12" x 16".

Condition: fair. The window card was found inside of a picture frame, and it had been trimmed to 12" x 16". This means that 2" was trimmed off from the left border and 6" was trimmed from the top border. We have never seen a complete window card, so we are not certain exactly what was trimmed, but only a small bit of the title was affected by the trimming on the left side, and the 6" that were trimmed from the top surely included at least 4" of blank area, so not that much of the duotone images was trimmed off. Please do not bid on this card unless you can accept the trimming it has had, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored.
