Date Sold 12/15/2011Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 11 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Thriller - en Grym Film (released in the U.S. as "They Call Her One Eye" and in Italy as "Thriller"), the 1974 Bo Arne Vibenius (billed as "Alex Fridolinski") Swedish revenge melodrama ("The movie that has no limits of evil! First they took her speech... Then her sight... When they were finished she used what was left of her for her own frightening kind of REVENGE!"; "Sweden's sensational"; about a girl who is raped and turns mute as a result; later, she's kidnapped and forced to work as a prostitute, including lesbian encounters; her parents commit suicide over losing her after her pimp sends a fake letter telling them she hates them, and she seeks revenge against those who wronged her) starring Christina Lindberg ("as the working girl they pushed too far!"; in the title role as Frigga), Heinz Hopf, Solveig Andersson, Despina Tomazani, Per-Axel Arosenius, and Bjorn Kristainasson. Note that when this movie was first released, it included graphic sex scenes and scenes of star Lindberg actually injecting herself! In 2009, she confirmed that the sex scenes were shot by doubles (a couple who performed live sex shows as "Romeo and Juliet"), but that she did in fact inject herself, although it was with a saline solution! Important Added Info: SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 11 STILLS, BUT ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 11 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the eight pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best eight stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills. Note that this auction also includes the envelope this item originally came with! Note that on our larger lots of black and white stills (usually ones with nine or more in the lot), there are a small number of lots where there may be one or several duplicated stills in the stills not pictured (we only picture eight of the stills on most of the black and white lots). We tried to note when some of the stills not pictured were duplicates to the ones that were pictured, but we may not have caught that every time, so please do not bid on the lots of nine or more stills unless you can accept the possibility that there may be some duplicated stills contained in the lot (there also may be a very few of the lots with eight or less stills that have a duplicate in them, but that is far less likely and you could see them in our photo). Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
