Date Sold 1/8/2015Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Canadian Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) A Run For Your Money (released in the U.S. in 1950), the 1949 Charles Frend English Ealing Studios coal mining family relationship screwball comedy ("A spree with a harp and a harpy"; about two Welsh brothers who win a trip to London to collect a prize, and they become separated and get in all kinds of trouble) starring Donald Houston, Moira Lister, Alec Guinness (as the English guide for the two brothers), Meredith Edwards (billed as "introducing Meredith Edwards"), and Hugh Griffith. Note that this was Alec Guinness' fourth movie, but it was released after his major roles in "Oliver Twist" and "Kind Hearts and Coronets" (one wonders if it wasn't made prior to those two, given his relatively small role).
