An Original Vintage Unfolded Polish Special Poster (19x27; measures 18 3/4" x 27" [48 x 69 cm]) (Learn More)

Odpowiednia Oliwiarka do Kazdego Zakamarka (literally translates to "Suitable oil separator for every corner"), the 1957 Polish work safety poster featuring art of a machine made of cogs (so that it resembles a living creature) being fed from an oil can by Waldemar Swierzy. It may be that this poster was displayed to remind people to keep their machinery serviced and oiled, and if so, it was done in a brilliant way! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Artist: Waldemar Swierzy
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Polish poster! Also note that it has a mirror image of what is on the front on the back of the poster, minus the lettering, and we don't know what that means. Some of the dark colors of the machine are reversed, so it may be that it was a test printing on the back, but we really don't know. No matter what, it is a wonderful poster!

Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has stains in the bottom right corner, and some in small parts of the borders, with some scuffs scattered in the white colored areas. There are creases just below the left of the red oil can, and creases in the machine below the right tip of the red can. There is a small tear in the top border and some small tears in the right border (see our image).
