An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 3/4" x 39 1/2") (Learn More)

Remous (released in the U.S. as "Whirlpool"), the 1933 Edmond T. Greville French romantic infidelity melodrama (about a young couple where the husband is paralyzed from the waist down in a car crash, and his wife tries to remain faithful, but eventually has an affair; this sexy and daring French movie was written by an American woman, Peggy Thompson!) starring Jeanne Boitel, Jean Galland, Maurice Maillot, Francoise Rosay, and Diana Sari. Note that this movie was not allowed to be shown in the United States throughout the 1930s! It was rejected by censors three different times, in 1936, 1937, and 1939. Finally, it was released in the U.S. in late 1939.
Artist: Donner

Condition: fine. Other than a few tiny tears in the borders, the poster is in really nice condition!
